4 Tips to Shape Up This Fall and Feel Your Best

Fall is the season where temperatures drop and the days become shorter. The cooler weather and colorful landscapes create the perfect conditions for exercise. If you start working out now, you'll get in shape before the holidays and fit into that tight dress. After a summer of relaxing on the beach, it's time to get moving and clean up your diet. Here are some tips to stay in shape this autumn:
Make a Plan
Take the time to do the math and see how much you can spend on food each week. Once you set a budget, make a grocery list and highlight the essentials. Limit processed foods as much as possible.
For instance, canned tuna is rich in protein and can be used in various recipes, from pasta to salad and stews. Salmon and turkey are a good choice too, but come with a higher price tag. Opt for calorie dense foods like steak and eggs, and high-volume foods that keep you full, such as cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, tomatoes, and lettuce. Keep your cardio sessions short and intense, or replace them with HIIT to boost your metabolism.
